Sautéed Broccoli Raab

Broccoli RaabIngredients

Broccoli Raab: 1 Bunch

Extra Virgin Olive Oil: ¼ cup

Chopped Garlic: 2-3 cloves

Hard Cheddar Cheese (Shredded): ¼ – ⅓ cup

Salt and Pepper: to taste

Wash and remove stems from broccoli raab.  Fill pot with about 2” of water and boil broccoli raab until tender.  Drain water and cut broccoli raab.  Sauté broccoli raab in extra virgin olive oil and chopped garlic.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Before serving top with shredded cheese.

 

Entrée Alternative:  Add to pasta of your choice and add additional extra virgin olive oil, squeeze of lemon juice and garlic powder to taste.
